Service Fusion Pricing for a 15-Person Plumbing Company
Work out what Service Fusion costs a 15-person plumbing crew per user, per month and per year, on both annual and monthly billing.
A 15-person plumbing company pays Service Fusion the same as a one-person one, because every plan carries unlimited users. On annual billing that is $208 a month for Starter, $325 for Plus and $533 for Pro. Spread across 15 people, that is $13.87, $21.67 and $35.53 per person per month. Month-to-month billing raises those to $16.33, $25.47 and $41.80.
Key points
- Service Fusion lists unlimited users on all three plans, so headcount does not change the subscription line at all.
- Annual billing costs $208, $325 or $533 a month, charged as a single payment at sign-up; monthly billing costs $245, $382 or $627.
- Choosing annual over monthly saves $444 a year on Starter, $684 on Plus and $1,128 on Pro.
- At 15 people, Pro works out at $35.53 per head per month on annual billing, which is 2.6 times the Starter figure of $13.87.
- Job costing, inventory management and job photo uploads are included from Plus upward and are add-ons on Starter, but Service Fusion does not publish add-on prices.

What does Service Fusion actually charge?
Service Fusion publishes six numbers: three annual-billing prices and three monthly ones. Everything below is computed from those. The prices come from the Service Fusion pricing page as published on 24 August 2026.

| Plan | Annual billing (per month) | Annual total | Monthly billing (per month) | Monthly total per year | Saved by paying annually |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $208 | $2,496 | $245 | $2,940 | $444 |
| Plus | $325 | $3,900 | $382 | $4,584 | $684 |
| Pro | $533 | $6,396 | $627 | $7,524 | $1,128 |
The working on the annual totals is simply the monthly figure times twelve: 208 × 12 = 2,496; 325 × 12 = 3,900; 533 × 12 = 6,396. Same for monthly: 245 × 12 = 2,940; 382 × 12 = 4,584; 627 × 12 = 7,524. The saving is the difference between the two yearly totals.
Note the annual price is described as charged as one annual payment at sign-up. That matters for a 15-person plumbing firm managing cash across a slow winter: the Pro saving of $1,128 comes at the cost of putting $6,396 out of the bank in one go instead of $627 a month.
Assumptions behind every figure on this page
- Prices are the published list figures on 24 August 2026 and carry no negotiated discount.
- Headcount means every person who would touch the system: field plumbers, dispatchers, office staff, the owner. Service Fusion does not distinguish between them for billing.
- No add-ons are included in any figure. GPS Fleet Tracking and ServiceCall.ai are listed as add-ons on all three plans and no price is published for either.
- Payment processing fees are excluded, because Service Fusion does not publish a rate on the pricing page.
- Sales tax, onboarding and any data migration cost are excluded.
What is the per-user cost at every crew size?
This is the table the unlimited-user model makes worth building. Because the subscription does not move, the per-head cost is a straight division, and it falls fast. Figures are annual-billing monthly prices divided by headcount, rounded to the cent.

| People using it | Starter ($208/mo) | Plus ($325/mo) | Pro ($533/mo) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $208.00 | $325.00 | $533.00 |
| 2 | $104.00 | $162.50 | $266.50 |
| 3 | $69.33 | $108.33 | $177.67 |
| 4 | $52.00 | $81.25 | $133.25 |
| 5 | $41.60 | $65.00 | $106.60 |
| 6 | $34.67 | $54.17 | $88.83 |
| 8 | $26.00 | $40.63 | $66.63 |
| 10 | $20.80 | $32.50 | $53.30 |
| 12 | $17.33 | $27.08 | $44.42 |
| 15 | $13.87 | $21.67 | $35.53 |
| 18 | $11.56 | $18.06 | $29.61 |
| 20 | $10.40 | $16.25 | $26.65 |
| 25 | $8.32 | $13.00 | $21.32 |
| 30 | $6.93 | $10.83 | $17.77 |
| 40 | $5.20 | $8.13 | $13.33 |
The shape of that table is the whole argument for a flat-fee product. A two-van plumbing outfit with five people on Pro is paying $106.60 a head. The same product at 15 people is $35.53 a head. At 30 people it is $17.77. Nothing about the software changed; only the divisor did.
For a 15-person company specifically, the year cost per person is 13.87 × 12 = $166.44 on Starter, 21.67 × 12 = $260.04 on Plus and 35.53 × 12 = $426.36 on Pro.
How does billing frequency change the answer at each crew size?
Two axes here: plan tier and billing frequency, both at realistic plumbing-company headcounts. Every cell is cost per person per month.
| Crew size | Starter annual | Starter monthly | Plus annual | Plus monthly | Pro annual | Pro monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | $41.60 | $49.00 | $65.00 | $76.40 | $106.60 | $125.40 |
| 8 | $26.00 | $30.63 | $40.63 | $47.75 | $66.63 | $78.38 |
| 10 | $20.80 | $24.50 | $32.50 | $38.20 | $53.30 | $62.70 |
| 15 | $13.87 | $16.33 | $21.67 | $25.47 | $35.53 | $41.80 |
| 20 | $10.40 | $12.25 | $16.25 | $19.10 | $26.65 | $31.35 |
| 25 | $8.32 | $9.80 | $13.00 | $15.28 | $21.32 | $25.08 |
The gap between the two billing modes at 15 people is $2.46 a head on Starter, $3.80 on Plus and $6.27 on Pro, every month. Across a 15-person crew and twelve months that reproduces the $444, $684 and $1,128 annual savings from the first table, which is a useful check that the arithmetic holds.
Read the table the other way and something more useful appears. A 15-person crew on Pro annual ($35.53) costs more per head than a 10-person crew on Plus annual ($32.50) but less than a 10-person crew on Pro monthly ($62.70). Tier choice moves the number more than headcount does over any realistic hiring range.
What does moving up a tier actually cost?
The upgrade deltas, computed from the same six published prices.
| Move | Annual billing, extra per month | Annual billing, extra per year | Monthly billing, extra per month | Monthly billing, extra per year | Extra per head per month at 15 people (annual billing) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter to Plus | $117 | $1,404 | $137 | $1,644 | $7.80 |
| Plus to Pro | $208 | $2,496 | $245 | $2,940 | $13.87 |
| Starter to Pro | $325 | $3,900 | $382 | $4,584 | $21.67 |
What you get for the $117 a month from Starter to Plus, per the published feature lists: job photo uploads, inventory management, job costing and integrated voice and text move from the add-on column into the included column. For a plumbing company that buys fittings and fixtures per job, job costing and inventory are usually the two that decide the tier.
What the extra $208 a month from Plus to Pro buys, per the same lists: Open API integration, custom documents, eSign documents, customer web portal, and progress billing plus recurring invoicing. Recurring invoicing matters if you sell maintenance agreements. Progress billing matters if you run repipes or commercial work billed in stages. If you do neither, Pro is $2,496 a year for an API and a customer portal.
Reverse calculation: how many people do you need before it costs under $20 a head?
Working backwards from a target per-head budget. The threshold is the smallest headcount at which plan price divided by headcount falls at or below the target, on annual billing.
| Target cost per person per month | Starter ($208) | Plus ($325) | Pro ($533) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $50 | 5 people ($41.60) | 7 people ($46.43) | 11 people ($48.45) |
| $40 | 6 people ($34.67) | 9 people ($36.11) | 14 people ($38.07) |
| $30 | 7 people ($29.71) | 11 people ($29.55) | 18 people ($29.61) |
| $25 | 9 people ($23.11) | 13 people ($25.00) | 22 people ($24.23) |
| $20 | 11 people ($18.91) | 17 people ($19.12) | 27 people ($19.74) |
| $15 | 14 people ($14.86) | 22 people ($14.77) | 36 people ($14.81) |
| $10 | 21 people ($9.90) | 33 people ($9.85) | 54 people ($9.81) |
The arithmetic behind one row, so it can be checked: for Pro at a $20 target, 533 ÷ 20 = 26.65, so 26 people would still be $20.50 each and 27 people brings it to $19.74.
A 15-person plumbing company sits above the $15 threshold on Starter, above the $25 threshold on Plus, and just past the $40 threshold on Pro. If you are benchmarking against a per-user-priced competitor, those are the three numbers to compare against, not the headline monthly price.
Two things people get wrong about this pricing
“Adding plumbers will push the software bill up.” It will not. Service Fusion states that no matter the plan, users are unlimited, and gives the example of one technician and one dispatcher paying the same as 20 technicians and a full office. Hiring five apprentices takes a 15-person Pro subscription from $35.53 to $26.65 a head and leaves the invoice at $533. Every per-user product does the opposite. If you are comparing against a tool at, say, a fixed rate per seat, the crossover is a straight division: on Pro annual, Service Fusion beats any per-seat product priced above $35.53 a seat at 15 people, and above $26.65 at 20.
“Monthly billing only costs a little more.” On Starter the gap is $37 a month, which sounds small, and it is $444 a year. On Pro it is $94 a month and $1,128 a year. That $1,128 is more than five months of Starter. The trade is real though: annual is charged as one payment at sign-up, so a firm that would have to borrow to cover $6,396 upfront is not obviously better off taking the discount.
What could not be verified
Several things a 15-person plumbing company would want costed are simply not published, so they are not in any table above.
- Add-on prices. GPS Fleet Tracking and ServiceCall.ai are listed as add-ons on all three plans. Job photo uploads, inventory management, job costing, custom documents, eSign documents, customer web portal and progressive billing are listed as add-ons on Starter. No price is published for any of them. Building Starter up to a Plus feature set therefore cannot be priced from public information; you would have to ask.
- Payment processing rates. Integrated payments and payment processing appear on every plan, but no card rate, per-transaction fee or ACH rate is published on the pricing page. Any estimate of processing cost on a plumbing company’s monthly card volume would be invented, so none is given here.
- Onboarding cost. Personalised onboarding is stated as included with all plans, with no separate figure attached. Whether “included” covers historic data migration is not stated.
- Contract terms and renewal pricing. The page states no contract requirements. It does not say whether the annual price is locked at renewal.
- Any competitor comparison. No other vendor pricing page was checked for this article, so no cross-vendor table appears. Figures from memory or from third-party round-ups are not used here.
When these numbers will be wrong for you
- You have office staff who never open the software. Then the “15” in these tables is really 11 or 12, and the per-head figures rise by a quarter or more.
- You need Starter add-ons. Starter at $13.87 a head only holds if you genuinely need nothing from the add-on list. Add job costing and inventory at unknown prices and Starter can plausibly land above Plus. Plus at $21.67 a head is the safer benchmark for a plumbing firm tracking materials.
- Your card volume is large. Processing fees on a plumbing company running most of its revenue through the built-in payments will dwarf a $325 subscription. A firm doing $2m a year on cards pays more in processing in a fortnight than the software costs in a year, at any plausible rate. That comparison, not the subscription, is where the money is.
- You are mid-year. Every figure here is dated 24 August 2026. Vendors change list prices without notice.
- You negotiate. These are list prices. A 15-person firm on Pro is committing $6,396 upfront and has something to negotiate with.
What to check before you buy
- Get the add-on prices in writing. Specifically job costing, inventory management and GPS fleet tracking. Without them you cannot compare Starter plus add-ons against Plus.
- Get the payment processing rate in writing, including card-present, card-not-present and ACH, and any per-transaction fee. Compare it against what you pay now.
- Confirm the renewal price, not just the first-year price, before paying $6,396 upfront.
- Confirm what onboarding includes. Ask directly whether importing your existing customer list, job history and open invoices is covered.
- Count your real user list. Write down every person who would log in. That number is the divisor in every table on this page.
- Check the QuickBooks integration against your actual file, since QuickBooks integration is listed on all three tiers but the depth of sync is not described.
Cross-check every figure here against the current Service Fusion pricing page before signing anything. This site does not use Service Fusion and does not claim to. Everything above is arithmetic performed on prices the vendor published on 24 August 2026, and prices move.

Common questions
- How much is Service Fusion per user for a 15-person plumbing company?
- Service Fusion does not charge per user, so the per-user figure is simply the plan price divided by headcount. On annual billing at 15 people that is $13.87 per person per month on Starter ($208), $21.67 on Plus ($325) and $35.53 on Pro ($533). On monthly billing the same 15 people work out at $16.33, $25.47 and $41.80. Adding a sixteenth person changes the invoice by nothing at all; it only lowers the per-head figure.
- What does Service Fusion cost per year?
- On annual billing, Starter is $208 a month billed as one annual payment, which is $2,496 a year. Plus at $325 a month is $3,900 a year. Pro at $533 a month is $6,396 a year. On month-to-month billing the same plans are $245, $382 and $627 a month, which come to $2,940, $4,584 and $7,524 a year. The annual route saves $444, $684 and $1,128 respectively.
- Is the Service Fusion annual discount really 15 percent?
- Close to it on every tier. Starter drops from $245 to $208, a cut of $37 or 15.1 percent. Plus drops from $382 to $325, a cut of $57 or 14.9 percent. Pro drops from $627 to $533, a cut of $94 or 15.0 percent. The published rounding means the headline 15 percent is accurate to within a fraction of a percent. The trade-off is that the annual figure is charged as a single payment at sign-up rather than spread over twelve months.
- Which Service Fusion plan does a plumbing company need for job costing?
- Job costing is listed inside Plus and Pro, and appears as a paid add-on on Starter. Inventory management and job photo uploads follow the same pattern. So a plumbing firm that wants materials tracked against each job is looking at Plus at $325 a month annually, or $3,900 a year, rather than Starter. Service Fusion does not publish what the Starter add-ons cost, so building Starter up to a Plus-equivalent feature set cannot be priced from the published page.
- Does Service Fusion charge more when I hire more plumbers?
- No. Service Fusion states that every plan includes unlimited users, and that a company with one technician and one dispatcher pays the same as one with 20 technicians and a full office. Growing from 15 to 25 people adds nothing to the subscription line. On Pro annual billing that takes the per-head cost from $35.53 a month down to $21.32 a month without the invoice changing.
