Tradify Plan Tiers: What Lite, Pro and Ultimate Unlock
Tradify lists Lite at $47, Pro at $51 and Plus at $61 per user each month. Work out your own bill at 1 to 10 users and the break-even on upgrading.
Tradify publishes three tiers, and none of them is called Ultimate. As listed on Tradify’s pricing page on 2026-09-04, they are Lite at $47 USD per user per month, Pro at $51 and Plus at $61. Plus is the only tier that carries SmartTools. All three list the same three headline features, so the published differences between tiers are thin.
Key points
- Tradify lists Lite at $47, Pro at $51 and Plus at $61 USD per user per month, and every tier is priced per user with no published minimum or volume break.
- There is no tier named Ultimate on the page checked; the top published tier is Plus.
- Pro costs 8.5% more than Lite, Plus costs 19.6% more than Pro, and Plus costs 29.8% more than Lite.
- SmartTools is stated as Plus-only, making its effective cost $10 per user per month over Pro, or $600 a year across a five-person crew.
- The published free offer is a 14-day trial that includes all features, not a free plan.

What does each Tradify tier actually list?
The pricing page shows the same three bullet points under Lite, Pro and Plus: job management with notes and tracking, scheduling with Google Calendar sync, and pricing and markups. The only stated exclusive is SmartTools, described as available on the Plus plan only.

That matters for how you read the tiers. On the page as published, you are not shown a feature ladder that justifies the steps between $47, $51 and $61. You are shown three prices and one exclusive. Anything else a salesperson tells you is not on the public page and should go into your contract in writing.
What will Tradify cost at my crew size?
All figures below are computed from the three published per-user rates. Monthly cost is rate × users. Annual is monthly × 12. No discount is applied because Tradify does not publish one.

| Users | Lite $47/mo | Pro $51/mo | Plus $61/mo | Lite/yr | Pro/yr | Plus/yr |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $47 | $51 | $61 | $564 | $612 | $732 |
| 2 | $94 | $102 | $122 | $1,128 | $1,224 | $1,464 |
| 3 | $141 | $153 | $183 | $1,692 | $1,836 | $2,196 |
| 4 | $188 | $204 | $244 | $2,256 | $2,448 | $2,928 |
| 5 | $235 | $255 | $305 | $2,820 | $3,060 | $3,660 |
| 6 | $282 | $306 | $366 | $3,384 | $3,672 | $4,392 |
| 7 | $329 | $357 | $427 | $3,948 | $4,284 | $5,124 |
| 8 | $376 | $408 | $488 | $4,512 | $4,896 | $5,856 |
| 9 | $423 | $459 | $549 | $5,076 | $5,508 | $6,588 |
| 10 | $470 | $510 | $610 | $5,640 | $6,120 | $7,320 |
Working, so you can check it: five users on Plus is 5 × $61 = $305 a month. Multiply by 12 and you get $3,660 a year. Eight users on Lite is 8 × $47 = $376, or $4,512 a year. Nothing here is compounded or discounted, because the page gives no basis for either.
The practical read for an electrical firm: the difference between the cheapest and dearest tier at one user is $14 a month, which is noise. At ten users it is $1,680 a year, which is a real line item.
How does the tier gap change as I add users?
This is the second axis. Headcount and tier choice both move your bill, and they move it at different speeds. The table shows the extra annual spend of each upgrade at each crew size.
| Users | Lite→Pro (+$4/user/mo) | Pro→Plus (+$10/user/mo) | Lite→Plus (+$14/user/mo) | Cost of one extra Lite seat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $48/yr | $120/yr | $168/yr | $564/yr |
| 2 | $96/yr | $240/yr | $336/yr | $564/yr |
| 3 | $144/yr | $360/yr | $504/yr | $564/yr |
| 4 | $192/yr | $480/yr | $672/yr | $564/yr |
| 5 | $240/yr | $600/yr | $840/yr | $564/yr |
| 6 | $288/yr | $720/yr | $1,008/yr | $564/yr |
| 8 | $384/yr | $960/yr | $1,344/yr | $564/yr |
| 10 | $480/yr | $1,200/yr | $1,680/yr | $564/yr |
Read the last two columns together. Up to four users, upgrading the whole team from Lite to Plus ($672 a year at four users) still costs more than adding one more Lite seat ($564 a year). At five users and above, the full Lite-to-Plus upgrade overtakes the cost of a whole extra person on Lite. Past that point, tier choice is the bigger decision, not headcount.
The per-user deltas come straight from subtraction: $51 − $47 = $4, $61 − $51 = $10, $61 − $47 = $14. Multiply by users, then by 12.
How much time must Plus save to pay for itself?
Reverse the calculation. Instead of asking what Plus costs, ask what it has to return. The premium over Pro is $10 per user per month. Divide that by your charge-out rate and convert to minutes.
Assumption you must supply: your own billable hourly rate. Tradify publishes no rate and none is implied here. The formula is break-even minutes per user per month = (premium ÷ hourly rate) × 60.
| Your hourly rate | Minutes/user/month to justify Pro→Plus (+$10) | Minutes to justify Lite→Plus (+$14) | Minutes to justify Lite→Pro (+$4) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $50 | 12.0 | 16.8 | 4.8 |
| $60 | 10.0 | 14.0 | 4.0 |
| $70 | 8.6 | 12.0 | 3.4 |
| $80 | 7.5 | 10.5 | 3.0 |
| $90 | 6.7 | 9.3 | 2.7 |
| $100 | 6.0 | 8.4 | 2.4 |
| $110 | 5.5 | 7.6 | 2.2 |
| $120 | 5.0 | 7.0 | 2.0 |
Working for one row: at $80 an hour, $10 buys 0.125 of an hour, which is 7.5 minutes. So SmartTools must save each user 7.5 minutes a month for Plus to break even against Pro at that rate.
Those are small numbers. Roughly eight minutes a month per person at $80 an hour. That is one recovered quote or one avoided drive-back. The honest conclusion is that the tier premium is not where the money is. The money is in seat count and in whether the software is used at all. A ten-user Plus subscription is $7,320 a year whether or not the field crew opens the app.
What is the three-year cost of each tier?
Straight multiplication of the annual figures, holding price flat. Tradify publishes no price history and no committed price hold, so this is a run-rate, not a forecast.
| Users | Lite 3yr | Pro 3yr | Plus 3yr | Plus premium over Lite, 3yr |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $1,692 | $1,836 | $2,196 | $504 |
| 3 | $5,076 | $5,508 | $6,588 | $1,512 |
| 5 | $8,460 | $9,180 | $10,980 | $2,520 |
| 8 | $13,536 | $14,688 | $17,568 | $4,032 |
| 10 | $16,920 | $18,360 | $21,960 | $5,040 |
If the per-user rate rises 10% at any renewal, add 10% to every remaining year. On a ten-user Plus subscription a single 10% rise adds $732 a year. Ask whether the rate is held for the term before you commit.
Two things contractors get wrong about this pricing
Misconception one: the tier you pick is the main cost decision. It is not, at small headcounts. Going from Lite to Plus at three users costs $504 a year. Hiring one more person and putting them on Lite costs $564 a year. The seat is dearer than the entire upgrade for the existing team. Below five users, argue about headcount, not tiers.
Misconception two: the free trial is a free plan. The pricing page describes a 14-day free trial that includes all the features, specifically so you can work out which tier suits you. There is no published free forever tier and no published free read-only or admin seat. On day 15 you are choosing between $47, $51 and $61 per user per month. If you want the trial to tell you anything useful, load real jobs into it, not test data, because you only get 14 days of signal.
A third, on the tier name. Searches for a Tradify “Ultimate” plan will not match the published page. The published tiers are Lite, Pro and Plus. If a quote you receive names a tier that is not one of those three, ask what it maps to before you sign.
What could not be verified
Several things on the scraped page do not resolve cleanly, and this site does not fill gaps by guessing.
- A figure of “$12 per month” appears repeatedly on the page alongside the tier blocks. What it attaches to is not clear from the page text. It could be an add-on, a per-item charge or a formatting artefact. No claim is made about it here.
- Tradify does not publish a feature list for SmartTools on the pricing page beyond the statement that it is Plus-only. What you get for the $10 per user per month premium is not verifiable from the page.
- No annual or prepay discount is published. Every annual figure in this article is the monthly rate times twelve. If a discount exists, it was not on the page.
- No minimum seat count, no free admin or office seat, and no setup or onboarding fee are published either way. Absence from the page is not proof of absence from a contract.
- No payment processing fee is published. Tradify lists Stripe among its accounting and payment add-ons, and Stripe sets its own rates, which Tradify does not restate. Any card processing percentage you have seen quoted for Tradify did not come from this page.
- No historical prices are published, so no year-over-year price change can be calculated. The three-year table above assumes flat pricing and is labelled as such.
- No US-specific tax treatment is stated. Software subscriptions are ordinarily a deductible business expense for a contracting business, but the rules are set by the IRS, not the vendor; see irs.gov for the current position and check with your accountant.
This estimate is wrong when any of these apply
The tables above are arithmetic on three published rates. They break in specific, predictable ways.
- You are outside the US. All three rates are quoted in USD. Tradify lists regions on its site, and regional price lists may differ in both currency and amount.
- Your seat count changes mid-month. The tables assume a stable headcount for a full month. Seasonal electrical work with apprentices on and off the books will not match a flat monthly line.
- You are quoted a negotiated rate. At eight or ten seats, list price is a starting point at many vendors. If you are given a discount, every figure here is an upper bound.
- You need seats for people who are not field users. If a bookkeeper or a scheduler needs a login, they are a user at full rate under per-user pricing unless Tradify tells you otherwise in writing. Two office logins on Plus is $1,464 a year on top of the crew.
- The price changed after 2026-09-04. These figures were read on that date. A pricing page is a live document.
- You are comparing against a vendor with flat pricing. Per-user pricing loses to flat pricing at some crew size and wins below it. You cannot judge that from Tradify’s page alone, and no other vendor was verified for this article.
No other vendor prices are given here
This article covers one vendor because one vendor’s page was checked. Tradify is the only source. No competitor price appears in any table above, and none should be inferred. This site does not use these products; everything here is a record of what the vendor publishes, plus arithmetic on it.
What to check before you buy
Take this list to the demo, because none of it is answerable from the published page.
- Confirm the tier names. Lite, Pro and Plus. If a quote says anything else, ask what it maps to.
- Get the SmartTools feature list in writing. It is the only published reason to pay Plus over Pro, at $10 per user per month, or $600 a year across five users.
- Ask what counts as a user. Office staff, subcontractors, apprentices with view-only access. Each one that counts adds $564 to $732 a year.
- Ask whether there is an annual prepay discount. None is published. If one exists, every annual figure above drops.
- Ask whether the rate is held for the contract term. A 10% rise on ten Plus users is $732 a year.
- Ask what happens to your data if you leave. Export format, and whether job history and invoices come out in a usable file.
- Confirm the Stripe processing rate separately. Tradify lists Stripe as an add-on and does not publish the percentage, so that cost sits outside every number in this article.
- Load real jobs into the 14-day trial on day one. The trial includes all features, so use it to test the tier you would actually buy, not the top tier.

Common questions
- How much is Tradify per month?
- Tradify's pricing page lists three per-user monthly prices in USD: Lite at $47, Pro at $51 and Plus at $61. Those are per user, so a two-person electrical firm on Pro pays $102 a month and a five-person firm on Pro pays $255 a month. Tradify does not publish a flat company rate, a minimum seat count or a stated annual discount on the page checked on 2026-09-04, so the monthly figure scales linearly with headcount.
- Is there a Tradify Ultimate plan?
- No plan called Ultimate appears on Tradify's pricing page as checked on 2026-09-04. The three tiers named there are Lite, Pro and Plus. If you have seen Ultimate quoted elsewhere it is either an old tier name, a different vendor, or a regional variation Tradify does not publish on the US page. Treat Plus at $61 per user per month as the top published tier and confirm the name with Tradify before signing anything.
- What is the cost difference between Tradify Pro and Plus?
- Plus costs $10 more per user each month than Pro, which is $61 against $51, a 19.6% increase. At one user that is $120 a year. At three users it is $360 a year, at five users $600 a year and at eight users $960 a year. The gap grows in a straight line because both tiers are billed per user with no published volume break.
- Does Tradify have a free plan?
- Tradify publishes a 14-day free trial, not a free plan. The pricing page states the trial includes all the features so you can decide which tier suits your business. After 14 days you pick a paid tier at $47, $51 or $61 per user each month. There is no published free forever tier and no published limited free seat for an office administrator or an apprentice.
- Which Tradify plan includes SmartTools?
- Tradify's pricing page states SmartTools is available on the Plus plan only. Plus is listed at $61 per user each month, so SmartTools carries an effective premium of $10 per user per month over Pro and $14 per user per month over Lite. For a five-person crew that is $600 or $840 a year respectively. The page does not itemise what SmartTools contains, so ask for a feature list before upgrading for it.
