LMN Time Tracking and Payments Add-On Costs
Work out what LMN costs per crew member at 6, 18, 40 and 100 users, including the $75 onboarding fee and $30/mo Launch charge.
LMN publishes two priced plans and one that is not priced. LMN Professional is $297/mo USD billed monthly with 1 office/crew lead licence and 5 crew member licences. LMN Enterprise is $648/mo USD with 3 office/crew lead licences and 15 crew member licences. LMN Launch onboarding adds $75 one-time plus $30/mo. LMN publishes no payment processing rate.
Key points
- LMN Professional is $297/mo for 6 included licences, which is $49.50 per licence per month before onboarding.
- LMN Enterprise is $648/mo for 18 included licences, which is $36.00 per licence per month before onboarding.
- LMN Launch / Onboarding is a $75 one-time fee plus $30/mo, and both priced plans are footnoted “After a one-time onboarding fee”.
- LMN Starter is listed at contact-sales pricing and “Starts at 100 users”, so it is not a small-crew entry tier despite the name.
- LMN publishes no card rate, no ACH rate and no per-transaction fee anywhere on its pricing page, so payments cost cannot be modelled from published figures.

All figures below come from the LMN plans and pricing page as it read on 27 August 2026. This site does not use LMN. Everything here is arithmetic applied to what the vendor publishes.
What does LMN actually cost in year one?
Published inputs, and nothing else:

| Item | Published figure |
|---|---|
| LMN Professional | $297/mo USD, billed monthly |
| Professional included licences | 1 office/crew lead + 5 crew member |
| LMN Enterprise | $648/mo USD, billed monthly |
| Enterprise included licences | 3 office/crew lead + 15 crew member |
| LMN Starter | Contact sales for pricing, starts at 100 users |
| LMN Launch / Onboarding | $75 one-time fee + $30/mo |
| Additional licences | “Available for a fee” — rate not published |
| Payment processing | Not published |
Note the naming. On the published page, LMN Starter is the contact-sales tier that starts at 100 users, while Professional is the $297 entry point marked MOST POPULAR. If you assumed Starter was the cheap small-crew plan, the page says otherwise.
Assumptions used in every table below
- Both priced plans are billed monthly at the published rate, with no annual discount, because none is published.
- The Launch / Onboarding line applies once per account: $75 at signup plus $30 every month. The asterisk on both plan prices reads “After a one-time onboarding fee”, which is why it is added rather than assumed included.
- Included licence counts are read literally: Professional 1 + 5 = 6 seats, Enterprise 3 + 15 = 18 seats.
- Additional licences above those counts cost something, but the amount is unpublished. Any row that would need that number is marked as such rather than filled with a guess.
- Prices are USD.
What is the 12-month cost of each plan?
Working, line by line, for LMN Professional:

- Subscription: $297 × 12 = $3,564
- Launch monthly: $30 × 12 = $360
- Launch one-time: $75
- Year one total: $3,564 + $360 + $75 = $3,999
- Year two onward: $3,564 + $360 = $3,924
For LMN Enterprise:
- Subscription: $648 × 12 = $7,776
- Launch monthly: $30 × 12 = $360
- Launch one-time: $75
- Year one total: $7,776 + $360 + $75 = $8,211
- Year two onward: $7,776 + $360 = $8,136
| Plan | Month 1 | Months 2-12 each | Year 1 total | Year 2 total | Year 1 + 2 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Professional | $402 | $327 | $3,999 | $3,924 | $7,923 |
| Enterprise | $753 | $678 | $8,211 | $8,136 | $16,347 |
| Starter (100+ users) | Not published | Not published | Not published | Not published | Not published |
The $75 one-time fee is 1.9% of Professional year-one cost and 0.9% of Enterprise year-one cost. It is not the line that decides anything. The $30/mo Launch charge is the one people miss: over two years it is $720, roughly two and a bit extra months of Professional.
What does LMN cost per person at each headcount?
This is the table most readers are here for. Find your total headcount row.
The rule: any headcount at or below 6 fits inside Professional’s included licences. Any headcount at or below 18 fits inside Enterprise’s included licences. Between 7 and 18, Professional needs paid extra licences at a rate LMN does not publish, so those cells are marked rather than invented.
Cost basis below is subscription plus the $30/mo Launch charge: $327/mo for Professional, $678/mo for Enterprise.
| Total users | Fits Professional? | Prof. $/user/mo | Fits Enterprise? | Ent. $/user/mo | Cheaper on published figures |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Yes | $327.00 | Yes | $678.00 | Professional |
| 2 | Yes | $163.50 | Yes | $339.00 | Professional |
| 3 | Yes | $109.00 | Yes | $226.00 | Professional |
| 4 | Yes | $81.75 | Yes | $169.50 | Professional |
| 5 | Yes | $65.40 | Yes | $135.60 | Professional |
| 6 | Yes (full) | $54.50 | Yes | $113.00 | Professional |
| 7 | No, +1 paid | $327 + 1 fee | Yes | $96.86 | Professional if extra licence < $351/mo |
| 8 | No, +2 paid | $327 + 2 fees | Yes | $84.75 | Professional if extra licence < $175.50/mo |
| 9 | No, +3 paid | $327 + 3 fees | Yes | $75.33 | Professional if extra licence < $117.00/mo |
| 10 | No, +4 paid | $327 + 4 fees | Yes | $67.80 | Professional if extra licence < $87.75/mo |
| 12 | No, +6 paid | $327 + 6 fees | Yes | $56.50 | Professional if extra licence < $58.50/mo |
| 14 | No, +8 paid | $327 + 8 fees | Yes | $48.43 | Professional if extra licence < $43.88/mo |
| 16 | No, +10 paid | $327 + 10 fees | Yes | $42.38 | Professional if extra licence < $35.10/mo |
| 18 | No, +12 paid | $327 + 12 fees | Yes (full) | $37.67 | Professional if extra licence < $29.25/mo |
| 20 | No, +14 paid | $327 + 14 fees | No, +2 paid | $678 + 2 fees | Enterprise unless extra licence rate differs by plan |
| 25 | No, +19 paid | $327 + 19 fees | No, +7 paid | $678 + 7 fees | Enterprise |
| 40 | No, +34 paid | $327 + 34 fees | No, +22 paid | $678 + 22 fees | Enterprise |
| 100 | No | Not viable | No, +82 paid | $678 + 82 fees | Starter tier territory |
Read the break-even column carefully. The threshold falls as headcount rises. At 7 users, an extra licence would have to cost more than $351/mo before Enterprise wins, which is implausible. At 18 users, an extra licence only needs to cost more than $29.25/mo for Enterprise to win, which is entirely plausible. The switch point sits somewhere in the low teens for most realistic extra-licence rates.
Working for the 12-user row: Enterprise costs $678/mo all in. Professional costs $327/mo plus 6 extra licences. For the two to be equal, 6 × rate = $678 − $327 = $351, so rate = $58.50. Below that rate, Professional wins at 12 users. Above it, Enterprise does.
Working for the 18-user row: 12 × rate = $351, so rate = $29.25.
How does the answer change if you count crew and office seats separately?
LMN splits licences into two types, and the included counts differ in ratio between the plans. Professional gives 1 office/crew lead to 5 crew, a 1:5 ratio. Enterprise gives 3 to 15, also 1:5. The ratio is identical, so a business with an unusual mix will overrun one licence type before the other regardless of plan.
Two axes here: number of office/crew lead staff, and number of crew members. Cells show whether the plan’s included counts cover you.
| Office/lead staff → | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 crew | Prof covers | Prof over on office | Prof over, Ent covers | Ent over on office |
| 10 crew | Prof over on crew, Ent covers | Ent covers | Ent covers | Ent over on office |
| 15 crew | Prof over, Ent covers | Ent covers | Ent covers (full) | Ent over on office |
| 20 crew | Both over on crew | Both over on crew | Ent over on crew | Ent over on both |
The practical consequence: a two-person office running a five-person crew has 7 total people but overruns Professional on the office licence type, not the crew type. That is a single extra licence, and at any sane rate Professional stays cheaper than the $351/mo jump to Enterprise. Conversely a one-person office running 12 crew overruns by 7 crew licences, and Enterprise becomes competitive fast.
What income does LMN have to protect to pay for itself?
Reverse calculation. At what gross margin does the annual cost disappear into rounding?
Year-one Professional is $3,999. Year-one Enterprise is $8,211. Express each as a share of annual revenue:
| Annual revenue | Prof. as % of revenue | Ent. as % of revenue |
|---|---|---|
| $150,000 | 2.67% | 5.47% |
| $250,000 | 1.60% | 3.28% |
| $500,000 | 0.80% | 1.64% |
| $750,000 | 0.53% | 1.09% |
| $1,000,000 | 0.40% | 0.82% |
| $2,000,000 | 0.20% | 0.41% |
| $3,000,000 | 0.13% | 0.27% |
| $5,300,000 | 0.075% | 0.155% |
Working for the $500,000 row: $3,999 ÷ $500,000 = 0.008 = 0.80%. And $8,211 ÷ $500,000 = 0.0164 = 1.64%.
Now the reverse question. If your net margin is 10%, Professional’s $3,999 needs $39,990 of extra annual revenue to break even, and Enterprise’s $8,211 needs $82,110. At a 20% net margin those fall to $19,995 and $41,055. At a 5% margin they rise to $79,980 and $164,220.
| Net margin | Extra revenue to cover Professional | Extra revenue to cover Enterprise |
|---|---|---|
| 5% | $79,980 | $164,220 |
| 10% | $39,990 | $82,110 |
| 15% | $26,660 | $54,740 |
| 20% | $19,995 | $41,055 |
| 25% | $15,996 | $32,844 |
The LMN pricing page carries a customer quote referencing “$5.3M at a 20% net profit last year”. Applied to that specific figure, Enterprise year one is $41,055 ÷ $1,060,000 of net profit, or 0.77% of net profit. That is the vendor’s own published customer figure, used only as an arithmetic input.
Two things people get wrong about LMN pricing
Misconception one: Starter is the cheap plan. On the published page, LMN Starter is the contact-sales tier described as “Scales to support you. Starts at 100 users.” The cheapest published price is Professional at $297/mo. If you go looking for a Starter quote as a three-person operation, the tier name is pointing you at a plan sized for 100 users. The $297 figure is the floor, not a mid-tier.
Misconception two: the sticker price is the whole bill. Both plan prices carry an asterisk reading “After a one-time onboarding fee”, and the page separately lists LMN Launch / Onboarding at $75 one-time plus $30/mo. That $30/mo is recurring, not a one-off. Over three years it is $1,080. Against Professional’s three-year subscription of $10,692, Launch adds $1,155 including the one-time fee, a 10.8% uplift. Budgeting $297/mo flat understates three-year cost by about a tenth.
What could not be verified
Payment processing rates. The LMN pricing page lists an Invoicing & Payments block with automated invoicing and a claim about sending hundreds of invoices in minutes. It contains no card rate, no ACH rate, no per-transaction fee, no monthly gateway charge and no named processor. LMN does not publish a price for payments that could be verified today. Payments cost is therefore excluded from every table above. Do not assume it is zero.
Time tracking as a separately priced item. The published page does not itemise time tracking as an add-on with its own price. The page shows several rows marked “Available as add-on” without an attached figure. No price for a time tracking add-on could be verified.
Additional licence rates. The page states “Additional licences are available for a fee” for both priced plans and for Starter. It does not state the fee. Every break-even figure above is therefore expressed as a threshold rate rather than a total.
Annual billing discount. Both prices are stated as “billed monthly”. No annual rate is published, so no annual discount is assumed anywhere above.
The onboarding fee’s relationship to Launch. The plan asterisk says “After a one-time onboarding fee” and the Launch line says “$75 one-time fee + $30/mo”. These tables treat them as the same $75. If they are distinct charges, year-one totals rise by whatever the second fee is.
When these estimates are wrong
- You do not fill the included seats. Every per-user figure assumes full utilisation. A four-person shop on Professional pays $81.75 per person, not $54.50. The plan does not get cheaper for being under-used.
- Seasonal headcount. Landscaping headcount swings across the year. If you carry 6 users in February and 16 in July, the annual average tells you little. Monthly billing means the extra-licence cost is incurred only in the months the seats exist, assuming licences can be removed monthly. LMN does not publish whether they can.
- Payments volume is large. Once processing rates are known, a business running $1.5m through card payments will find processing dwarfs the subscription at almost any rate. A subscription comparison that ignores processing is the wrong comparison at that volume.
- You need Starter’s scale. Above 100 users, none of the published arithmetic applies. That tier is quoted.
- Currency. Prices are published in USD. Canadian and other non-US buyers face a conversion the page does not address.
- Prices changed after 27 August 2026. These figures were read on one day from one page. Vendors reprice.
What to check before buying
- Get the extra licence rate in writing, per licence type. Office/crew lead and crew member licences may not cost the same. Every break-even in this article turns on that number.
- Ask whether the $75 onboarding fee and the $75 Launch one-time fee are the same charge. The page can be read either way.
- Ask whether the $30/mo Launch charge ever ends. It is listed as recurring with no stated term.
- Get the payment processing rate as a percentage plus per-transaction amount, for card and ACH separately. Then multiply by your actual annual card volume before comparing plans.
- Ask whether licences can be removed month to month. Seasonal trades live or die on this.
- Ask what the “Available as add-on” rows cost. Several features are marked as add-ons with no price attached.
- Ask whether annual billing exists and what it discounts. Only monthly rates are published.
- Confirm the current price against golmn.com/pricing yourself. This article records what that page said on 27 August 2026 and nothing more.

Common questions
- How much does LMN cost per month?
- LMN publishes two priced plans. LMN Professional is $297/mo USD billed monthly and includes 1 office/crew lead licence plus 5 crew member licences. LMN Enterprise is $648/mo USD billed monthly and includes 3 office/crew lead licences plus 15 crew member licences. A third tier, LMN Starter, is listed at contact-sales pricing and starts at 100 users. Both priced figures carry an asterisk reading "After a one-time onboarding fee". Additional licences above the included counts are sold for a fee LMN does not publish.
- Does LMN charge an onboarding fee?
- Yes. The pricing page lists LMN Launch / Onboarding at $75 one-time fee plus $30/mo. Both priced plans are footnoted "After a one-time onboarding fee", so the $297 and $648 figures sit on top of that charge. On Professional the practical first-month outlay is $297 + $75 + $30 = $402, and $327/mo thereafter. On Enterprise it is $648 + $75 + $30 = $753 first month, then $678/mo.
- What is LMN's cost per crew member?
- Divide the plan price by included seats. Professional at $297/mo across 6 included licences (1 office/crew lead + 5 crew) is $49.50 per licence per month. Enterprise at $648/mo across 18 included licences (3 + 15) is $36.00 per licence per month. Including the $30/mo Launch charge, those become $54.50 and $37.67 respectively. Both figures assume you use every included seat; unused seats raise the effective per-person cost.
- What does LMN charge for payment processing?
- LMN does not publish a payment processing rate on its pricing page. The page lists an Invoicing & Payments feature block with automated invoicing and a line about sending hundreds of invoices in minutes, but no percentage rate, no per-transaction fee and no named processor. Any figure quoted elsewhere for LMN card or ACH rates is not verifiable from the vendor's own published pricing, so treat processing cost as an unknown to confirm with sales.
- Is LMN Enterprise cheaper than Professional per user?
- Yes, if you fill the seats. Enterprise costs $351/mo more than Professional but adds 12 included licences, so the marginal 12 seats work out at $29.25 each per month. Break-even sits at roughly 12 total users: at 12 users Professional needs 6 extra paid licences at an unpublished rate, and if that rate exceeds $58.50 per licence per month, Enterprise is already cheaper. Below 12 users Professional is cheaper on published figures.
